Google Docs Tutorials

I think Google docs is one of the best Web 2.0 tools around. You can create, collaborate and publish documents, spreadsheets and presentations Online. You can access these documents from any browser. Google Presentations even lets your viewer participate in an Online chat while watching your presentation. I've created (using Google docs) several tutorial documents which show how to use some of these tools. Give Google Docs a try. I know you will love it!

I also love google docs and with the advent of the forms it makes it so easy to collaborate. We have just finished working with a school in Denver and in Palestine comparing the number of cell phones, tv's, computers, mp3 players and other household gadgets. My students filled in the form during class time, the teacher in Denver saw the results come through immediately. We put them in a spreadsheet, charted the average results and copied the image of the charts into their blogs. you can see and example of the results on one of the student blogs at http://tadfish.globalstudent.org.au/2008/04/29/household-electronics-2/ It was a great exercise and now it is good to see that you have tutorials on it.

Hi Liz!

These are perfection! I'm starting to think I should set up a "lizbdavis" tag in Diigo - a place to store all your vast knowledge and expertise. Hmmm...actually...that might not be such a bad idea, now that I think of it.

Anyway, thanks for these. As usual, I bow to the Queen!

@Karen - that's so funny, because I DO have a lizbdavis tag in diigo and del.icio.us where I file all of these for later use :-)

@Liz - I absolutely love google docs, although I haven't played much with the presentations yet. The spreadsheet forms are my favorite feature - I love how you can see the results coming in live and people taking the survey/poll/test do NOT have to have a google account.

Thanks for more great work :-)
